Participation of Prof. Carlos Delgado-Kloos in Open edX 2016 , his talk: “Remedial Courses: From the Khan Academy Platform to Open edX”.
EdX is a non-profit initiative created by founding partners Harvard and MIT and made up of dozens of leading global institutions. EdX offers interactive online courses and MOOC from the best universities and institutions in the world. Open edX is the open source platform that powers edX courses. The edX code is available for free, institutions can host their own Open edX instances and offer their own classes. Educators can expand the platform to build learning tools that precisely meet their needs. And developers can bring new features to the Open edX platform. The goal is to create a worldwide community of educators and technologists who share innovative solutions to benefit students around the world. The Carlos III University of Madrid is a member of edX.
